Stills from the meeting

Tamil actors are furious over the remarks on the legendary actors MGR and Sivaji, by writer Jayamohan in his blog. They have demanded an unconditional apology from the writer, failing which he would be removed from the films ‘Angadi Theru’ and ‘Naan Kadavul’, in which he has written the scripts.

The Nadigar Sangam (Actors’ Association) conducted a meeting to condemn the actor for writing “nasty things” on the legendary actors and the magazine for reproducing the article. The meeting passed resolutions condemning such acts. The resolutions demanded apologies from the magazine and the writer.

One of the resolutions warned the magazine that if it doesn’t come out with an apology within a week, no filmy organization would cooperate to its forthcoming film production. Another resolution has threatened to remove Jayamohan from his current projects ‘Angadi Theru’ and ‘Naan Kadavul’, if he doesn’t render apology for what he had written.

The meeting was attended by Sarath Kumar, Radha Ravi, Sathyaraj, Manorama, Vijayakumar, Sivakumar, and Rajesh. Radha Ravi and Sathyaraj delivered furious speeches condemning the writer.
